Frequently asked questions for Bridge Cruises
1. Do I have to play in every bridge game?
No. You can play in as many bridge games as you like
2. My Husband, wife, or traveling partner doesn't play bridge. What will he/she do while I am playing?
The ships all have many activities onboard as well as shore days. The Bridge Group is a very small portion of the total passenger count. There are many things available to do: lectures/classes, poolside events, library, computer online, miscellaneous onboard events.
3. Is there an extra charge for the onboard Bridge games & workshop lectures?
All Bridge games & classes are included when booked through us. You must book through us to play bridge on the cruise.
4. Why should I take the optional insurance?
Insurance is a peace of mind - if you
have to cancel after the final payment date, you will be out the money (based on
a prorated scale). If you are injured or become ill while on the cruise - your home
medical care may not cover the Doctor's fees. (Note: There may be some limitations
for pre-existing conditions.)
5. Is my money refundable?
Your insurance is not refundable. Cancellation fees vary based on the cruise line or tour provider as well as canceled date & reason.
6. Do I have to be a Member of the sponsoring bridge club to join this cruise?
No. We welcome all players of all playing levels.
7. Will the cruise rates change?
All rates/categories are subject to availability. Taxes (including NCF's (port fees), government taxes, and fuel surcharge) are subject to change at any time.
8. How many bags can I bring on the cruise?
Allowed Baggage limits vary by cruise line and are similar to airline regulations. Contact us for special baggage questions.
